Daily Mindfulness - Wonderland in Tarot
Nine of Swords
So, the White Rabbit is a bundle of stressy nerves throughout the books - always late or looking for something that has been misplaced. No wonder he can't sleep at night - chaos makes for a horrible bedfellow. So, on nights when we cannot stop our stabby thoughts, and that is what these swords are, stabby insistent thoughts that will not. shut. up. - on nights like this it helps to focus on what we can do.
Swords are also planning and logic and if we use that, we can make lists or see things from a different perspective that will allow us to see things more clearly. If there is something we can do about our issues then we can plan a course of attack. If there isn't a thing we can do... we can try to let it go. Worrying about things we cannot control puts the thoughts in control - but we can choose to face them and let them go.
