This is one of my favorite Thoth cards to just stare at. So much imagery to take in. .. . The Priestess The Priestess represents the Moon in her higher aspects - that which joins the Human to the Divine. She sits on the Tree of Life middle pillar - the only one that spans the Abyss - linking Kether to Tiphareth - so joins the supernal triad to the rest of the Tree of Life. .. . She is the bridge between our conscious and higher selves and works through our subconscious - in dreams and synchronicity. This is a time to go within and listen for these messages and trust your intuition. She is about patience and understanding. Sensitivity and compassion when dealing with people around you as well as going within yourself. A pause for the day - much needed! Four of Swords This card has a lot of balance and stability but for air that can become stagnant if we aren't careful. This one came up a week or so ago and it is a good one to get - sometimes we need to cut through the chaos with a sharp sword. Crowley's Ace has Thelema written on it - Greek for Will. And that is what the swords take to use. This Ace is the seed of our intellectual power - the beginnings of ideas, or just a reminder that we need to use our intellects here and while it is always good to stay balanced with our emotions, right now we need to use rational thought more.
