Opossum Medicine!
This medicine uses a lot of strategy - one of his greatest forms of protect is playing dead, which is done to confuse predators. Once they think he is dead, they leave and Opossum is free to amble away. Right now, you are being asked to use strategy in a present situation. Use your instincts and intuition if things get to feeling a little too hard to handle. Even if you have to pretend to to unafraid, fake it til you feel it! Be ready to expect the unexpected and find clever ways to achieve victory. Native Spirit Oracle Talking Stick This is reminding you to speak your truth - communicate from the heart and don't be shy! Now is the time to stand tall and communicate! This restores trust and allows clarity. Also, remember to share the heavy things that darken the heart even if you are afraid - speak the truth without fear so that healing can occur! These two work well together - being brave, standing tall and using clever tactics to maybe outsmart your brain if it is holding you back.

Native Spirit Oracle - Trickster
This card tells us to look beneath the surface of things. Don't take everything at face value. It also reminds us to try and find the humor in difficult situations, especially if it's something we have to deal with, why not make it as bearable as possible? The Coyote is also the Trickster in many indigenous traditions. There is a lighthearted aspect to Coyote but also be aware and tread carefully - as said before, things are not always as they seem. Coyote reminds us to see ourselves in a new way, break old routines and habits and never let yourself go stagnant. Medicine Cards When Coyote medicine is coming your way it could be "good," or "bad," depending on your viewpoint but again, remember to face it with humor and goodwill. There are lessons to be learned if we stay focused and don't become overwhelmed. When things get crazy we can use Coyote Medicine - laughter, especially at ourselves. Don't get so serious that you miss the point. Lighten up, find the positive side and have some fun. |
