Daily Mindfulness Tower/Princess of Disks

Daily Mindfulness
A few people asked me about my two card/light and shadow draws. I read it either in a book or online somewhere and liked the idea - you shuffle like normal - the top card is the light side of the day and the bottom card is the shadow aspect.   Funnily enough, the Tower gets the Light side and the Disk Princess gets the shadow.

The Tower
This is a big blast of powerful and transformative energy coming at us. This is a natural process that shouldn't be a massive cataclysm. It can FEEL like one but it is necessary to let go of things that no longer serve us or may be holding us back.  In the main definition of this card we see "danger, ruin and  escape from prison."

Escape from prison. That is a great way of seeing this card.  Whatever is holding us back from growing and moving forward needs to be destroyed. We need to let this blast help us transform where we are stuck to where we need to be. Trust this process.   Now is the time to get to work - Time to realign ourselves and remember to be gentle with yourself as this process can be brutal - but it is also necessary.

Princess of Disks
Earth of Earth makes her the lowest court card of the lowest suit. She is the Malkuth of Malkuths, pregnant with all possible potentials. The key to perpetuating life in the universe.  Creation, growth, generous, kind and courageous.  This card brings new growth, new starts and keeps us grounded in the earth. Be excited! We create our universe!   What are we ready to birth into this world?

Perhaps we want to get moving and creating new life and diving into some potential ideas, but first we should look at things we need to let go of.  Making room for the new by blasting away the old.
