Daily Mindfulness - Thoth Deck
Six of Swords
Six balanced swords focus their analytical power upon the mysteries of being (Science) - resting on the Rose Cross. The formula for this card is very auspicious - for the human soul, the counterpart of Yetzirah is the Ruach (intellect.) On the Tree of Life, the center of Ruach radiates from Tiphareth. And Mercury, an air planet, is sitting in Aquarius - giving it a keen analytical mind and ability to concentrate as well as being curious and looking at all sides of a question.
It is a energetic looking card and it shows the crackles of confusion and anxiety we may have been dealing with lately. The swords rest on top of all that chaos with sharp clarity and balance - that balance thanks to Tiphareth - lending it a nice clear-headedness.
Labor, work, journey by water - success after anxiety and trouble, that is the meaning given the card and it reminds us that when things get chaotic, finding balance and thinking clearly, looking at issues with different perspectives can gives us the clarity we need to sail into smoother waters.
