Daily Mindfulness
I thought I would like to walk through the Egyptian Tarot deck one card at a time to learn more about it. This deck actually puts the Fool after the World, but I am sticking him back at the beginning - it seems more apt there. I can tell from the first card that this is going to be a deck that doesn't hold it's punches. The Fool Man as a slave of matter, takes his mistakes with them and heads into even more mistakes. Blind and heedless of any dangers around him he has a lack of discretion and no perception. He is like a blind man with a bag on shoulders, a stick in his hand and is walking towards a broken obelisk. Also, a hungry crocodile is waiting for him to get closer. So - there a probably some misfortunes threatening you, and right now you have to open up your heart and mind and try to have faith while you walk. Take off your blinders and become self-aware and pay attention to your surroundings. I may have to buy the regular size deck which comes with a better book - I am also wondering if the hieroglyphs actually spell anything. I have a hieroglyphic alphabet guide but the drawings are small and not very clear on the card. I must investigate further!
