I was pondering the best way to go about my tasks this morning and pulled these cards - and as always, they were spot on...

The Emperor
This is a time to take a firm hand in what you are doing - sharp mind and wise governance.  Also, a time to listen to advice from others that may have seen and done the things you are doing now - learn from experience and stay strong.

Three of Cups
Crowley says, "Mercury is the Will or Word of the All-Father. Here its influence descends upon the most receptive of the Signs" In other words - our Cups are starting to overflow in all sorts of beauty and pleasure.   At times we are so touched by something that we open ourselves up to the experience, fully and completely.  It isn't often we open to that kind of blissfulness with our shields down, so to speak, but when we do, we find ourselves in Harmony with everything around us.

So, together, it is finding a balance between firm authority and that no nonsense energy of the Emperor, with letting our softer side open up to the world around us.  That kind of balance will keep us moving forward with a clear mind but also an open heart.
