A Walk Through the Thoth Tarot
Ten of Disks Here we are at the end of our journey through the Thoth Deck! The ten represents the climax of the descent of matter and is the signal for the redintegration by Spirit. Crowley calls this card, "a hieroglyph of the cycle of regeneration." It is the last card in the deck and sits in the lowest sphere (Malkuth), in the lowest world (Assiah) This is the only ten that has nowhere to go (all the other tens fall down to the next lower suit.) So this ten is going to do something different. From its place at the bottom of its world it has to link up with the secret of creation - to regenerate itself and the top of the tarot cycle. Even the card art shows this. A Tree of Life, with Malkuth, our ten, big and ponderous at the bottom and it needs to refresh itself to get back up to the top! Crowley says, "When wealth accumulates beyond a certain point, it must either become completely inert and cease to be wealth, or call in the aid of intelligence to use it rightly... In this way Carnegie establishes a library or Rockefeller endows research, simply because there is nothing else to do." Completion of material gain and fortune but nothing beyond - the pinnacle of success. Our final manifestation. The completion of our Great Work in this cycle! There is such security here but we must not become greedy or selfish with our gains. Find outlets for your wealth so they don't degenerate into stagnant nothingness. This goes for material as well as inner or mental wealth. Don't hoard or close yourself off. Keep this energy flowing, the more open you are, the more you will be blessed and stay endlessly wealthy. ************************* I just want to thank everyone who joined me on this Thoth journey! I have learned so much and loved sharing with you all! Let's keep this energy moving and a groovin and keep going forward with our own Great Work!
