Game of Thrones Tarot/Enchanted Spell Oracle At first glance these two cards are the complete opposite looking of each other... but they pair so well. Eight of Swords Stabby cards - but this is a good one, so far as stabby cards go because it's ourselves that are causing the issues. Too many thoughts running around in the head and we over think everything until we just stall out. We have the power then, to stop the hamster wheel in our heads and see things from a different perspective. Good Fortune/Mint Keep you eyes open right now because something good is coming your way. I think good things are always out there for us, but we often pass them right by because we are stuck elsewhere. This card is a good reminder to notice the lovely little synchronicities that happen around us. So today stop stabbing yourself with your thoughts. It is too easy to get stuck in a dark and negative rut when we can't get out of our own heads. Look around you, find a new perspective that will let you find the answers and let the good fortune of a clear head calm those stabby thoughts.

Letters From the Thoth Tarot
Fortune I like what Crowley says about Fortune: "This card thus represents the Universe in its aspect as a continual change of state." And change is what this card is all about - it's not luck - good or bad - it's just continual change. The most stable spot on that wheel, is the center and staying centered is the best place to be. Things are going to change and if we can move with those changes and not struggle against them we will be much happier for it. Also: Round and round/ What comes around goes around/ I'll tell you why, why, why, why/ Round and round - Ratt, You earworm for the day. You are so welcome ;) Daily Mindfulness
Game of Thrones Tarot/Enchanted Spell Oracle My first thoughts was "oh these are an interesting mix" and then I realized they actually do go well together. Judgement This is a time to look back over things in your life, dreams, memories etc, and to see how things stand up to scrutiny. The past likes to reappear at times and when it does it's usually because we need to learn something from it before we can move forward. So pay attention and see what lessons there are for us to gain. Luxury/Vine Now is the time to add a bit more joy to your life. If things get to mindless and joyless, we need to take time to revitalize our lives - have a little fun to add some positive energy to your life. You work hard so take some time to play as well. So today we may be flashbacking to things in our past, seeing our good times and the not so good times. Is there something we need to see and bring forward with us? And remember while the past isn't always pretty, don't hold the sadness or guilt of those actions we did. Learning the lessons and letting the baggage go is a great way to gain perspective and to let the light and joy back into our lives. Letters From the Thoth Tarot
Four of Swords I really love how pretty this card is and how it shows what it means just by the art. The background is crackly and full of a pointy energy - conflict and "issues." Whereas the swords themselves arranged as a St. Andrews cross, rest on a large rose of 49 petals (social harmony says Crowley) This is a time of rest and healing, well earned down time after conflict and the chaos of life. This isn't the end of all that though, but a space to breathe and regain any strength you need before getting back to it again. Resist the idea of staying in the mental fray and let yourself find a quiet spot to gain perspective. Daily Mindfulness
Game of Thrones Tarot/Enchanted Spell Oracle Queen of Spears This is a lovely energy - full of creativity, focus and expression. Fiery and passionate this is all about expressing yourself. Knowing what you want and making it happen. Enchantment/Ash This card reminds us to step back from the world for some reflection and self-care. There are times when we just need to slow down and enjoy life, right now. Be here now. When we take the time to reflect we often see things clearly, issues that were troubling you now have answers that you couldn't see before. So today let your creative side flourish. Take some quiet time to reflect on things you normally put to the side and enjoy life right now at this moment. You'd be surprised how much you learn and achieve from self-care and how much happier you will be! Letters From the Thoth Tarot
Prince of Cups Just looking at this card you can see the air and water mixing in a most turbulent manner. When you can mix the two in balance you can shape your desires with control but if you can't focus on what it is you are trying to do, you are going to end up with a cyclone on your hands. Take the time to really visualize what you want, be as creative as you can and imagine you already have it and then send that out into the Universe to manifest it. Daily Mindfulness
Game of Thrones Tarot/Enchanted Spell Oracle Five of Spears This is all about the little sparring issues we deal with day to day - especially if strong personalities are involved. Little battles that aren't serious but can be annoying if we feel we aren't being heard. If it's important, be persistent and if it isn't, let it go. Save your sanity for the bigger issues. Wisdom/Ivy Berry This is the wisdom of knowing when to take a step back and look at situations with objectivity. Sometimes we get caught up in the emotional facets life and we stop seeing what is really happening. To keep long lasting relationships healthy, we need to stay balanced and see things as they truly are. So today we need perspective. Do we want to engage in little skirmishes - do we NEED to engage in them? Or can we let them go and move on to other things? Use that inner wisdom to keep you sane and out of the annoying battles you don't need to be in. Letters From the Thoth Tarot
Six of Disks I love the balanced feel of this card - and it indicates that we have reached a point of balance and security as well as inner balance and harmony. While disks often tend to reflect monetary issues, there is much more to it. It's about the underlying workings of things - nuts and bolts - our security blankets of trust and reliability with our friends and family that gives us a save feeling space to work from. Planets associated with this card: Saturn = success through discipline Jupiter = being open to new opportunities Venus = success through following what is in our heart Mercury = success through good communication Moon = success through nurturing ourselves and staying true to what we believe in Mars = putting energy consistently into the right areas of our life When we have that safe space we feel confident and ready to take on the world. Things happening right now are going to powerful and fruitful because we are strong and full of the energy we need to manifest all the things. Let yourself trust in this feeling and work with the Universe to create what you need. Daily Mindfulness
Game of Thrones Tarot/Enchanted Spell Oracle The Star This is such a lovely card of hope and strength. After all Sansa had to go through, she didn't give up and she held on to faith that something better would come along. If you find yourself in the dark now, don't give up. Opportunities are coming and transitions into a better space are on the way. Purity/Reed This card can be likened to sensitivity and how it is often perceived as being weak. I think that is a huge part of the problem and why there is so much ugly in the world. We should default to compassion and forgiveness. As an empathic person I tend to pick up WAY too much so it is also good to guard yourself against being overwhelmed by all the energies out there. It is a fine balance but leaving your heart open to love and compassion is a much better way to live than closing it up and living in the dark. So today know that there is a space of love and hope and inspiration coming to you. New creative possibilities and healing are about to help you if you've been stuck in a dark and annoying rut. Hang on! Letters From the Thoth Tarot
The Aeon This card has so much symbolic goodness in it and the story of Crowley's different Aeons is really fascinating. I am understanding it but am also just learning so forgive me if I don't go into it all just yet, I will when I can actually explain it confidently. But this is the new Aeon of Horus and that is the time we live in now. I rarely drew this card with the RWS and never much liked it, but again, I can get behind this version. And it came up very timely for me today as the past just seems to be following me lately, which means there is something I need to learn from it and am not quite getting there yet. The past affects the present and what we do now will touch the future. There is a cause and effect that happens all the time and we need to learn the lessons of the past so that we can move into the future with confidence and a better road map. |
