Game of Thrones Tarot/Enchanted Spell Oracle Four of Swords Here we have a dead knight being tended to by one of the Silent Sisters. Death would be the ultimate end to this card but for us, I think it means a rest, healing, a time of recovery after stress. If we don't take time for ourselves after such stressful times, we risk becoming sick or unable to deal with life like we should. Abundance/Cinnamon What can you do to create more abundance in your life? Is there a new job or creative hobby that can add a bit of wealth or happiness or maybe selling off things you no longer need? Maybe it's even finding more time to enjoy what you do have right now. Abundance can mean different things to different people so find what it means to you and create what you need! So today might be a time to create an abundance of you time. Especially if you have been running ragged lately - this isn't selfish this is necessary. Keeping yourself happy and healthy means you can deal with all the things life can toss at you!

Four of Wands Each of the perfectly balanced wands here are topped with a dove of Venus and ram of Mars. Crowley says that, "indicates that one cannot establish one's work without tact and gentleness." If you follow the Tree of Life, this card lies in Chesed and is the first solid representation of the suit. This starts to bring order and the rule of law to the universe. Order and perfect balance is what this four is giving us. Something we have been working on that has given us trouble has now been completed and for the moment we can rest and enjoy our labors with this completion. Stay focused while you labor and think about where you would like to go next. Daily Mindfulness
Game of Thrones Tarot/Enchanted Spell Oracle King of Swords So where is the Knight King at the moment? Is he also on his way to Winterfell? Because he hasn't been shown with the bulk of his army... perhaps he is on his Ice Dragon headed to King's Landing? Just my own speculation but think of all the dead he could amass if he did that! And it is a quality of this card, ambition, decisions and intelligence. This is a strategic King who can be incredibly ruthless. The kind of King who could perhaps lead his enemy into thinking he was going one way, only to go another with perhaps devastating results. Beauty/Lotus What is beauty to you? Is it looks, appearance? Or is it something deeper and more meaningful? Qualities like compassion, loyalty and truthfulness are also beautiful and these are the qualities that will always remain with us in life. So today is a time to be decisive and use your clarity in making your decisions. Perhaps they should be based on compassion and truthfulness if you used the Kings intellect to create beauty and joy. Lust Courage strength energy and action - living in the now, ready for anything knowing you have what it takes to deal with it. Just look at this gorgeous, sexy card. Babylon, holding up the Holy Grail and sitting astride a seven-headed beast. This image is showing us the ecstatic dissolution of all we are into the Universal Self. Crowley says, "This is the Mystery of Babylon ... for she hath yielded up herself to everything that liveth and hath become a partaker in its mystery. And because she hath made herself the servant of each, therefore she is become the mistress of all." Deity lusts for the moment that we all return to her. Our dissolution into the infinite... someday each of us will also lust for that ultimate moment. Using the energy of this card, we will have all we need to nourish and strengthen our life as we Lust ever higher to the next level and beyond. Daily Mindfulness
Game of Thrones Tarot/Enchanted Spell Oracle Six of Swords Like Arya here, leaving the horrors of Westeros behind and sailing to Braavos, this is a time of moving forward, into safety and peace. There have been stabby bits of stress that you are slowly leaving behind so you can see things from a new perspective. Also remember you don't have to do this alone. If you need help, it is there, you only need to ask. Faith/Lily There are time when we need to trust that things are going to be alright. This Priestess is a reminder that something is looking out for you and has your back. You have done your part and now you need to have faith that everyone will work out just right. So today it's time to step away from the chaos and look at things from a different perspective. If you have been struggling and working hard, know that things are going to work out, if you give it the trust and faith that it will. Letters From the Thoth Tarot
Death This is no grim specter cutting people down in his path. This is a happier Death, dancing around on the bottom of the ocean using his scythe to rake bubbles from the ocean floor - new life out of the deadish sediment. He wears Osiris's crown as well -life after death. This card has a lot of alchemical symbolism in it - the 3 main bits are the Scorpion, Serpent and Eagle and in alchemy these things represent the threefold process of putrefaction. Which sounds disgusting but in fact is necessary to generate enough of the warming heat to incubate the Orphic Egg in its last stage of development. As Crowley says, "The formula of continued life is death, or putrefaction." From The Book of Thoth: The Universe is Change; every Change is the effect of an Act of Love; all Acts of Love contain Pure Joy. Die Daily! Death is the apex of one curve of the snake Life: behold all opposites as necessary complements, and rejoice. Without transformation and change we can't grow - we stagnate and sink to get stuck in the sediments. Let the things that no longer serve us go - in the space they leave, new life can grow. Game of Thrones Tarot/Enchanted Spell Oracle The Moon The Moon door of The Eyrie is a pretty freaky place to be standing or falling if you tick off Lysa. In tarot the Moon can cause us to feel very confused or seeing illusions and uncertainty around us. It is a time to trust your intuition and follow that instead of what your brain thinks it sees. Moonlight can change the way things look but it isn't something to fear - it's just different and can give us another perspective in how things are. Trust your intuition to guide you. Contemplation/St John's Wort This Priestess reminds us to take some time to reflect on life and where we have been and what we would like to be doing. Insights from past experiences can help us move forward with clearer goals and intentions. So today might be a good time to find a quiet spot to reflect and search for insights into where we go next. You can trust your intuition to help guide you - don't over think with your rational brain, but trust your emotional heart to lead your way. Letters From the Thoth Tarot
8 of Wands This card just screams HIGH VOLTAGE doesn't it? As Crowley says this card represents energy of high velocity. This card is all about high amounts of swiftness and speed - high velocities. Think hummingbird on Red Bull here. It is a lot of energy, almost an overwhelming amount if you aren't ready for it. You are going to be able to harness this and get ALL THE THINGS done , obstacles will be crushed out of your way... but also be aware that you are most likely going to fall over and crash if you aren't too careful about maintaining that level of activity. Stay balanced and centered while you ride this energy. Daily Mindfulness
Game of Thrones Tarot/Enchanted Spell Oracle Ace of Coins The seeds of many new things start here. Coins symbolize money and success! Maybe starting a new business venture, job or something creative that may turn into money! Start planning your goals and aiming for financial security. Ambition/Birch This card is about having the confidence and motivation to step into a starring role. Being a leader can be a daunting task but if you need to get things done then stand tall and project that confidence - you can motivate yourself and others to achieve some amazing things! So today is a great day to stand up and start a new adventure or project - you have the confidence and the skills to create what you need and you can motivate others to help you out - time to get moving! Letters From the Thoth Tarot
The Devil This has got to be one of my favorite Devil cards - look at all the symbolism in there and that is one happy looking goat. This card tends to get such a bad rap for being "evil," yet all the cards in the deck have the potential for evil just as all the cards have a potential for good, including this one. This one gets to be a "scapegoat," for all the potential evils in the world lurking to get us. Crowley says," this card represents creative energy in its most material form... the goat leaping with lust upon the summits of earth... fiery, material energy of creation... the card represents Pan, the all begetter" Some serious male energy here, you can see that just by looking at the card. Lady Harris was quite explicit in her representation of the male anatomy in this card. At its most basic level this card is about strong impulses, temptation and obsession with our basic instincts and our preoccupation with those things. Needing love, food, sex, and safety are one thing, becoming so obsessed with them is another (as well as denying ourselves these things.) The main thing to remember is that we are in charge and we control our responses to these feelings. Don't get stuck, you are free to choose! |
