Game of Thrones Tarot/Enchanted Spell Oracle It's funny, my "hidden factor/teacher," card is The Sun and I have never really muched like this card - it was always too "bright," for me? I don't know, it was just not a fav card which is amusing as it has the most to teach me apparently. However, I LOVE this version of the Sun so I can work with it here and quite happily! The Sun Happy Happy the young Drogon is just chilling in the garden, under the Sun, which is the Astrolabe that tells the story of Westeros. Even has those sunflower vibes to it as well. Drogon was named after Khal Drogo, Daenerys's husband and she called him, "her sun and stars." *cry* This card is a very happy and positive card, letting you know that all is well and there is much happiness in your world right now. You have been through a lot and you have achieved much in the process and now you can enjoy this success! Ambition (Birch) I actually asked the cards how could I best contain my antsy, jittery feelings today - and I pulled these. Very helpful too! Now is the time to pull up the big girl pants and do some leading. It may feel like I have a lot of hurdles to pass but I will get there as long as I keep going with confidence and maybe a little charm too. Stay motivated to achieve some fantastic adventures! So today is a good day to enjoy that Sun - you are in a good place right now to rest a bit and look at all the happiness you have achieved - stay positive and motivated as well as confident that you can handle anything that comes your way even if it feels like you are just running in circles.

Game of Thrones Tarot/Enchanted Spell Oracle Can we just pause here to look at how well these two cards go together? The colors and design match so well, but also the coins - just numerically and visually pleasing. 10 of Coins A table set with Tyrell rose coins, waiting for Joffrey and Margaery - their wedding feast! This ten shows us a consolidation of wealth and happiness, love. A strong bond for relationships and commitments of all types. Ritual (Blue Woad) This card speaks to the importance of honoring where you are before moving on to a new phase in your life. Rituals can help soothe the worries of the unknown, of what is coming next, by giving us a place to focus and center ourselves. It can also help us let go of the old energies and open us up to the new. Never fear the unknown, embrace it! So today changes are coming and might be nice to set aside some time to honor your life and the gifts you have been blessed with so far. Either alone or with close family and friends, celebrate with love and joy and get ready for the next opportunity heading your way! Daily Mindfulness
Game of Thrones Tarot/ Enchanted Spell Oracle Decided to change it up a bit and use a new oracle deck, I thought they would mesh well together! Six of Swords Here we have Arya heading towards Braavos after all the ugliness that happened in Westeros. A perfect example of moving away from chaos into hopefully, calmer waters. There may have been much stress and conflict in your life but now it's time to move away from it. Either physically or mentally it is time to shift into a peaceful place to rest awhile. And if you need some help to get there, ask. Note that Arya isn't the one rowing, and you don't have to either. Rebirth (Elder Tree) The elder tree was used quite a bit in medieval times and has links to the Fae - the best place to find one is under this tree. Right now a transformation is taking place - a new phase of life is starting. Similar to the Death card in Tarot, it may not always be easy but to let go of the old, leaves room for new things to grow. So today might be a day to look at what is happening around you and let go of any negative situations surrounding you. Find a place of peace to rest yourself awhile so that you can be ready for the new opportunities to come. Letting go of outdated or chaotic situations can leave room open for new and peaceful adventures! Daily Mindfulness
Game of Thrones Tarot Ace of Cups This was Joffrey's and Margaery's wedding chalice - creepy looking if you ask me BUT it is the Love Cup - The aces are seeds, beginnings - of love, creativity, healing. Cups hold our emotions and with this card we can plant the seeds of inspiration to start some new creative venture - also this could be a start of spiritual growth and healing. Love is given, shared and returned in fullness. So today, what do you hope to accomplish? Right now is a great time to begin - feel the flow of energy around you and get started! Daily Mindfulness
Game of Thrones Tarot Three of Coins A new sept is being built here - projects are in the process of happening now and your skills are gaining attention. Hard work is paying off and others see your worth with praise and acclaim. As hard as you do work though, remember you may not always do the work alone - if people are helping you, be sure to share the praise and wealth! You have everything you need to accomplish your goals and if you do need help, you will know just how to attract the right people to you - be sure you are all on the same page though - otherwise it could get confusing. So today, what kind of projects are you currently working on? Could you use a bit of help to get things moving forward? Remember you don't have to do anything by yourself, just ask! The right people will always be willing to help! Daily Mindfulness
Game of Thrones Tarot/Hedgewitch Botanical Oracle Death What a great character to represent Death - Arya Stark! She tells Tywin Lannister that anyone can be killed and in the Tarot, Death is the experience of change/loss/letting go of, that can happen to anyone at anytime. Death - this letting go of things is necessary - without it we can't grow and nothing new can enter our lives. Dandelion/Humility This plant is often considered a weed but it is actually edible and abundant in vitamins. Dandelion reminds us that just because something looks weedy - it can still be incredibly useful. The oracle property of Humility is a reminder to assess our importance in "all the things." We are all valuable and we all want to be heard - but there are times when we need to sit back and let others take charge. So today may be a great time to look at our lives and see if there is anything we can let go of, things that no longer serve us well or we have just outgrown. This may also include letting shine for awhile while we reassess what we want and where we are going. Find what you value and also find the value in others around you. Daily Mindfulness
Game of Thrones Tarot/Hedgewitch Botanical Oracle Nine of Cups Isn't this just the PERFECT illustration of the Nine of Cups? Sam sitting in the Library of the Citadel!? Sam is in his heaven (and a perfect heaven it is- all those books!) and this card reflects our dreams and desires. Happiness - wishes come true here! Now you get to manifest all you desire and the bonus is you get to enjoy it all too. You are also more than happy to share your wealth - happiness shared is happiness doubled! Golden Poppy/Dream Whenever I see a poppy now, I always think of Game of Thrones and their Milk of the Poppy - they used that a lot LOL - the oracle property of this poppy is Dream. The narcotic sedative effect this plant has on us can give us a very altered state of reality. Dreaming too much can be a distraction but it is also a way into creating goals and how to attain them. Let your imagination run free but also keep a foot in reality so you don't float away completely. So today is kind of a lucky day. You have created some goals, worked hard and now you have those dreams and wishes coming true. What a fabulous spot to be in so share some of that happiness with friends and then keep on dreaming up more ways to goal attainment! February - My Monthly Cards
Just looking at it makes me wonder if I am in for a sharp month... many pointy things sitting there LOL Comparing to my Year Spread - the month of February is 9 of Pentacles (Coins) A month of self-sufficiency and being independant and getting all the things done. Onward: Overall - Knight of Swords I HATE Ramsay Bolton - I hate that he is this Knight, I get it, but I hate it. Charging ahead determined to do what he wants with zero finesse. There can be drama here, stress and conflict because this Knight just pushes ahead and tends to not see what is going on around him at times. Zero tact and does not look at his feelings LOL Personal challenges may need to be overcome. Week 1 - Eight of Coins Getting my skills on! Which totally fits here - I am learning my craft and honing my skills in order to create makes to sell online. Practice Practice Practice! Week 2 - Justice Eddard with Ice, his sword, stands for Justice, decisions and clarity - balance. "The man who passes the sentence should swing the sword." And then he does just that. Edd isn't always served best by his brand of justice, he does the right thing but maybe at the wrong time. Still he sticks to his values. And that is the important thing. Week 3 - Page of Spears (wands) I have to admit, spears and wands don't go together, spears and swords do. Ah well... this is a great creative time. Ideas flying around and new ventures getting their start. Follow your passion here and be enthusiastic and excited - good things good things! Week 4 - Four of Spears Yay, more good things - Here you have been working hard and it's time for a little celebration - there is friendship and happiness and a time to settle in to your life and all you have accomplished so far. All in all a goodish month I think if I can balance that nasty Ramsay Knight energy with the loving creativity of the spears and balance it with Eddards Justice! Daily Mindfulness
Game of Thrones Tarot/Hedgewitch Botanical Oracle The Chariot Oh I LOVE this card and it really shows the need for Control, when driving the Chariot. We have the Dothraki and Drogon here and that is a LOT of power - which Daenerys needs to control masterfully if she wants them do go where she needs them to. And that is the jist of this card. There is forward progress with determination you get victory. But it is going to take work - but hey, you have a dragon, so.. you got this! Samphire/Adventure This is a wild and edible plant found along the coastlines of the Northern Hemisphere. Known as sea beans, samphire or sea asparagus, it is well known by coastal foragers. Tied to the ocean, which holds a lot of adventure, past and present, gives samphire the oracle property of Adventure. Ocean travel led to much change and exploration and this card is a reminder of all the possibilities we have to choose from. There is wonder and opportunity if we are willing to go and get it, time to find something new and set out on a grand adventure! So today, you have forward momentum at your fingertips and a fabulous adventure is waiting. Take careful control over the reins, aim in the correct direction and FLY (you can, you have a Dragon, remember?) |
