After almost a week of maybe 5 hours of sleep each night, I finally got a decent amount of quality sleep.
I always forget how dark I get when I can't get enough sleep. It is hard to to anything when you can't even function.
This is why it is so vital to make sure you don't over extend yourself and take on too many things, even if they need to be done, and not take any time for yourself.
It is totally OK to say NO (even to yourself when you are feeling guilty about not doing something,) and it is even more important to pay attention to your intuition. I ignored mine the other day because I felt I HAD to get this stuff done, I had been putting it off for awhile so off I went and it was a disaster.
Listen to that inner voice because it is always right! There will be time to get things done, even if they aren't done when you planned on doing it. There is always time. But if you don't take care of yourself, that time will be a dark place to hang out.
