I still cannot stop giggling... not only do Malcolm and Inara have much more grass then then did yesterday, they also have accessories :)
Yeah - Shiny!
I have clips for the grass hair on Monday!
This started with a photo transfer of a beach in SoCal - I think it's probably one of the best transfers I have done yet. Then I added a cut out of a van, I think, I found it in a magazine - it has comfy blankets and then a bon fire, because you need one of those. And then as a afterthought, I added a Quokka - because YOU NEED one of those!
Here are my little chia guys, or Buzzy guys, if we need brand names. The Pink Hippo is Inara and the Grey Elephant is Malcolm. I planted the grass seeds today at work and left them happily sitting in the sun.
While I was mixing soil one of my co-workers asked what I was doing and I said I was making dirt to grow grass... Yes, I did get "that look," and then had to show them what I was doing. Which then got the response, "well I never would have gotten grass growing out of tiny little animals from what you just said"
Let's enjoy watching my grass grow.
It was a good day. I got nothing done, other then a few failed attempts at stuff - I did go to the store at noon... never do that on Memorial Day... just don't... Humanity is in there, all of it and it isn't good!
<--- That was my lunch and it was quite good.
Back to work tomorrow :)
A friend of mine had posted a photo of a handful of these little chia animals that grow grass for hair and of course they had a PINK HIPPO. So, I hunted them down and bought two to take to work with me.
The elephant is Malcolm and the hippo is Inara :)
Also found some Nightmare Before Christmas Jelly Belly's in yummy flavors like Punch, Blueberry, Kiwi and Orange Sherbet. Not "Christmas Tree Flavored" :P
Since tomorrow is a holiday, I have an extra night to stay up later then usual and fiddle with my latest art project - problem is, I also went to B&N and bought some bargain books, which are now calling my name - decisions decisions LOL
After going through my photos of yore, I thought I would post a few highlights LOL Wow, what a walk in time...
It was a very busy and productive day and at one point I noticed my blue hi-lighter pen had neat bubbles in it that shined and glowed in the light.
Ohhh sparkly, I said.
And took a photo.
And there it is :)
Not vicious or malicious
Just de-lovely and delicious
