So, 2019. It wasn't bad but it wasn't awesome either. There were bits I liked and bits I could have done without but at least I know what I would like to aim for in 2020.
2019 was the Year of the Devil. It was apt too. There were things I needed to rid myself of and things I needed to re-prioritize. The Devil likes to get you in his grasp and with me, its procrastination. I like the IDEA of doing things more than actually DOING them. Until I get going, then I LOVE doing them. It's the way I have always been and I am working on it. 2020 - Year of the Chariot and that is a go go go card! Which works out well as that is what I am hoping to do with myself - GO! Get all the things done. And stop the procrastinating. What will you do with your year? How to calculate your year card: I use Mary K. Greer’s method to calculate my Year Card (which can be found in her books, Tarot for Yourself and Who Are You in the Tarot). You add the month and day of your birth to the current year, and the resulting number corresponds with a Major Arcana card. Always keep the highest number under 23 (in this case The Fool corresponds with 22.).

166 books this year!
Not too bad - I am looking forward to what 2020 has between the pages! N = New R= Reread Happy New Year! Because this is what I have been up to lately. More of the little green guy! I am trying to amass them for etsy but he keeps getting swooped up before I get that far LOL I wasn't sure if anyone would know who he was at the xmas party I went to yesterday but not only was he known, he was LOVED! I donated one to the present tree and he was quite the hit! Yay. So, I am making more and more - if anyone wants one, please let me know! $20 plus shipping! I do this through paypal. (Or etsy, if he actually gets there LOL)
I know I know, my last post was on the wee green baby - BUT, can you ever have TOO much of it?
I think no. Anyway, I wanted to see if I could embroider its squee like goodness and it turns out, I CAN! I am so happy with it - I am going to try a few more and see if anyone wants to buy one. I am so tickled with the outcome! I just... can't... I love this little guy! No, I don't actually watch The Mandalorian, although I have the gist of the storyline. But... LOOK AT HIM! So many clever memes too. The Simpsons one is very awesome. Anyway, I just had to share some smiles today and here is my attempt at drawing him from a video you can watch here. My Baby looks a tad grumpy or suspicious LOL |
