Updated - Finished The Outsider and hmmm... Link to Bag of Bones? Sidewalk Oracles and New King!5/22/2018 ![]() BOOKS! First book, Sidewalk Oracles - I just started this one last night and only put it down because my eyes couldn't stay open anymore. It's funny, I have always been struck by "synchronicity" and feeling there was more to it. I like Robert Moss's writing style too. If you have ever been interested in Kairomancy, this is the book to read. ![]() And of course the new King! He released a short story on his website the other day, Laurie, and I LOVED it, although I had to read it with one eye squinched shut because there as a dog in it LOL So, after I finish blogging I am off to read - Can't talk. Reading LOL I will be honest, I hope this one isn't as "preaching to the choir," as Sleeping Beauties was. I just couldn't like that one. Mostly because I read to escape the news and that one was straight up horror from real life. I know it's there, I am not trying to deny that, but I tend to read to escape from the uglies of the news and that book just felt like bathing in the news - so anyway, here's to more stories! Updated:
I finished the book today and I really loved it. BTW: SPOILERS.. .... .... So, first of all I LOVED that they brought Holly from Finders Keepers into the story. It was so nice to see an old friend and she still kicks ass. Also, The Outsider? Could it be the same one as in the story Bag of Bones, also by Sai King? At the end of the book, in that last struggle Jo tells him the Outsider was let in (the tree/Sarah) and that the Outsider always returns. Interesting - and I wonder if there will be any hint from King in the future, but I LOVES me the connections! The book was part gruesome and part supernatural awesome. *taps fingers for next book*
