Be All End All Life Can Be a Real Ball

We can call that the many faces of me. I think we all have many faces that look different, but generally speaking we are still the same person that has many facets? That sounds about right.

​The reason that has been stuck in my head is because I was doing this art journal project which is to stick my media player on shuffle and the first song that plays is the song I create a page for. The song that came out for this one was Be All End, All by Anthrax. 

Years ago when I was taking classes at Cypress JC, I was sitting in my car waiting for my next class and I had this tape playing. It wasn't super loud but my window was down and I guess this guy walking by heard it and looked it at me.  He did this weird bro dude smirk and said "what was a pretty sweet little thing like me doing listening to crap like that?"

*blink blink*

Before I could formulate a response he walked off but that one left me speechless for awhile. I guess because I have always listened to pretty much any music that moves me in some way, or makes me feel or think etc, it never occured to me that I had to LOOK a certain way to listen to a certain music.

I know there was the various music factions in high school... punk rock and the metalheads and pop peoples and etc etc.  But I listened to it all. Dress wise? At school I was pretty plain - out of school probably more Lita Ford than Madonna but still I guess I never fit into any one category.  My first concert was Oingo Boingo but my second was Def Leppard and Telsa followed by Sting and then Heart. So you can see I am all over the musical map and never much cared if my dress and or persona matched it.

This story has no point - I hope you weren't waiting for one LOL  Other then I guess the old, don't judge a book by its cover, is a nice moral to the story.  Oh and I still have no idea what I would have said to the bro dude who called me sweetie.  Back then, I guess I probably would have just flipped him off LOLOL
