Awesome Sundayness

Today all the gods and goddesses of THINGS THAT NEED DOING blessed me today.  The timing of everything was perfect!  

First stop - the hairs cut.  I have been taking this hair/nail vitamin and didn't realize until today that it was actually WORKING.  My stylist was like hey you need 2 inches cut and you were just here - so it's nice to know that sort of thing works.  Also, love my hair and my hair stylist does a perfect long bob. She noticed my hair shimmering but wasn't sure if it was just a reflection so she asked me about it.

I am trying a new color, because keeping it a dark burgundy is just too much work. I am using a dusty mauve shimmering color that you can see in the sun and it almost looks like that lenticular shimmy stuff.  I am doing another coloring today so it will be fun to see how it looks with a second month of it. I will try to get photos outdoors for maximum shimmer.

Then off to the grocery store which I hate.  I was even telling my hair person about how it always seems that there is a family reunion going on in the freezer aisle or something, too many peoples that make my introvertness cringe. So, I had to laugh when I actually saw someone I KNOW and haven't seen in a few months. So I got to be THAT PERSON squeeing in the aisle LOL

And now I am back and I have Chinese food and all is well in my world today. Because Teriyaki Chicken makes me happy. I hope you are having a happy face day today too.

Book Review?  I am not sure how I can review it since I spent most of the book saying WHAT THE EFF AM I READING?  It was a free world book day selection from Amazon and I am all about free books, so I started with The Light of the Fireflies by Paul Pen.  I can't really describe it because it would probably give too much away, but it is a mindf*ck to say the least. Most of the time I was trying to figure out WTF is all this and then I had to finish it because I had invested too much time in it already.  Upon finishing it I said, WHAT THE EFF DID I JUST READ. lol
It was an interesting idea and done pretty well and maybe it was the translation that made it seem so funky weird, but I can honestly say I had no idea what was going on until they explained it and that is a good thing in a book where you think you know what is happening.
