I tend to re-read the Harry Potter books around September 1st - as that is when he first heads to Hogwarts and it occured to me to make my September spread from the viewpoint of Harry - as if he was the one filling it in - here are some pix!
Not all of the weekly spread pages are filled in yet as I tend to do those as I go - the postcard you see will be attached as an extra layer with washii tape after I fill in one side of that week.
This is my last month with a large planner as next year I opted for a smaller more portable book. But I decided I wanted to give each month a theme word, and this one is Nourish with a side of Gratitude.
It was a busy weekend so I just used some washii tape, stickers, colored markers and gel pens. But I like the simplicity of it.
I am trying to decide if I like this weekly layout. It is organized and looks nice and neat but it doesn't leave a lot of room for flowy looseness LOL I may try a different weekly spread in May.
These are so addicting!
Now I love finding a great deal on stickers, thank you Amazon! Something to perk up my bullet journal which I am going to work on in just a moment! Happy Weekend!
And at least it is a healthy addiction! I have been doing art journaling for years and when the dot journals showed up I didn't really pay too much attention to them at the time. But recently, I picked up a few and now I am hooked. Here are some pictures of the journal I started last night.
Materials: Lemome bullet journal/Tombow Dual Brush Pens/Flexion Erasable hi-lighters/gel pens/colored pencils/stickers and washii tape. Also, Monsters SCENTED highlighters. OMG smells so tasty! And they have cute faces LOL
Side note: this is a pretty decent journal. The pages are thick enough to hold the tombow brushes and gel ink. Not thick enough for say my Zig artist pens or chalk markers though and the microns tend to go through a bit as well.
