I'd like to point out the hysterical fact here that my friend looked at my Hobby Lobby Haul and did he focus on the awesome Unicorn or the paper marbling kit? No, he focused in on the almost empty box of Bottlecaps sitting on the shelf - barely noticeable. Which is totally something I would do so this is why he is my friend ;)
Art updates: The Dragon embroidery is almost done - the dragon itself is complete, I just need to paint the sky and sew the ocean. The Black2.0 paint and shift rainbow liquid is awesome. I put some photos on my IG account and will post some here later. But I painted rocks to make mandalas and started coated some D&D dice as well. Grocery shopping was horrible today - way too many people out and they were being incredibly stupid. Witnessed several almost accidents in the car too. Meh. Now I just need it to be 6 because Game of Thrones and I really hope tonight's episode doesn't require any Pepto Bismol or deep breathing 5 minutes in.

Beltane, May Day - Happy to have some sun and a warmish breeze today! But, what I am really happy about is what is out for delivery: My friend Weecubeman had backed this product I think on kickstarter and he got the package last weekend and sent me some pictures and I have to admit I have never had paint turn me on before... until now. Culture Hustle please click to go to their site and prepare to be made very happy. I wanted ALL THE THINGS but had a budget and amazingly I stuck to it even though I wanted the LIT Pink paint because PINK! But it was too expensive for now. I did get the LIT green powder, which after looking at videos, I am positive you can see that stuff glow from space. I also got Shift, which is the Black 2.0 blackest of black paint along with The Rainbow color changing paint that happens to be alive somehow and much be kept in the fridge and jiggled every day. I now know this is why I haven't painted my tiny Sassy Trex yet... he was MADE for this paint. Updated because oh wow this stuff is amazing! Photos:
1: The Set - I put the rainbow liquid in the fridge and already gave it a friendly jiggle to keep it happy. 2: The LIT green powder that is so bright you can see it from space I bet. And it isn't even that dark in my room... 3: Sassy Trex with a first coat of regular acrylic paint - he's very porous and I want to coat him in regular paint before I add the Black 2.0 Blacker than Black, black hole paint. So, after I am done we all say, "sweet merciful crap where did Sassy Trex go?" Also, I am literally watching paint dry right now and it is doing it so slowlyyyyy - on purpose. I think I will have to wait until tomorrow to add Black 2.0 but still! Awesome fun! |
