After last years visit to the Halloween Party, I wasn't sure I wanted to go again. It had been hot and windy (cancelled fireworks) and beyond crowded. Everyone there seemed cranky. However, I decided I liked it enough to go and at least take photos and ride the train and Mark Twain, both of which had been closed for over a year.
This visit was the best visit. Ever. From being able to park in the garage instead of walking miles in the heat. To it being pretty much uncrowded and full of happy people and being able to literally walk onto any ride that was chosen, it was a great night! And the fireworks were fantastic - shooting stars and flames shot into the sky! I took a lot of photos last year, so these are from the Mark Twain, showing the newer areas in front of Star Wars land. And some various pix I thought would be nice to have. Enjoy!

In which I was dared to ride The Tower of Terror at DCA... I had never been on the ride, I am not a fan of heights.... so... I had a chance to rectify that situation last night... and I did. :)
I LOVED it. It was a annual passholder night... they had a 40's swing dance near the Tower of Terror and then on Paradise Pier was a 80's theme bash. They used the World of Color water and lights to sync with 80's music. Did a little Footloose, footwork, on the Boardwalk and also rode Soaring as well as The Radiator Springs Racers. Kinda lost my voice from the combination of screaming and giggling on Tower of Terror too. |
