Letters From Thoth & The New Era Elements
This has been a weird energy week so far and I have been feeling rather vulnerable or small - not sure how to explain it but this draw was so perfect when I asked how to work with these feelings... I thought maybe others might be struggling with this as well so I hope this helps!

The Emperor
Representing Aries and where Mars rules and Sol is exalted. As Crowley points out, "...is thus a combination of energy in its most material form with the idea of authority."  The Empresses other half, this energy is confident, caring and secure. Thoughtful and careful to consider all angles before making any decisions, this is the energy you want to reach out for when you are feeling vulnerable or powerless.

The Hierophant
This is my all time favorite ever representation of this card. HH The Dalai Lama is so perfect for this card. An admired figure of compassion and who says there is no single path of faith, but many ways to walk. This is a card of teaching, learning, instruction and belief as well as learning to listen inward to your own conscience. 


So today is about learning and teaching, knowing you can be a guide for others because everyone is a teacher for someone else. It is also about finding your inner strength and knowing you are not powerless - that you always have a hidden inner reserve that can pick you up and carry you forward. You can trust on that inner strength and you can trust yourself to use it well.
