The Fool's Journey - 7 The Chariot- Learning The Tarot

With The Vice Versa deck the original side is called This Side and the added side is called That Side. There is no good side or bad side or right side and reverse side. It simply another aspect of the card.

The next step on our journey is 7 - The Chariot

This side: A silver armor clad warrior rides a chariot drawn by 2 sphinxes.  He holds a caduceus in his right hand that he uses to channel his will to drive the sphinxes forward.  In the sky above is Ursa Major, which makes it easier to find The North Star, star of guidance. The North star also shines on The Charioteers brown, he has his own guidance and navigates by desire.

In a reading: Time to take charge of your destiny. The stars are aligned and now you need to step into your power and make some progress in your life path.  Do not be distracted by trivial things right now as things are speeding up and you need to keep your eyes on the road.  This is a great time for success!

That side: Here we can see the Charioteers red clock has the sign of Cancer , ruled by the moon, on the back. Intuition, not logic, is where he gets his strength to go onward, despite any obstacles to come.  A broken chain and block with the rune for *journey* lays behind the Chariot and the cobbled road is slowly dropping away in a cosmic void.  The only way to go is forward to that bright light on the horizon.

In a reading: Your journey is taking a mystical turn now and that is demanding your attention.  If you have been focusing on the mundane details you may miss things you need to see. Continue forward but pay attention to your intuition now. Things may be holding you back that you were not even aware of but now that you look inward you can be free of them.
