The Emperor
This is a strong, masculine energy. Odin on the throne with Huginn and Muninn bringing him needed information. Whenever I draw this card, I know it is time to pull on my "big girl," pants and get things done.   It also reminds me to look from above, at the bigger picture, so I know exactly what it is I need to be doing.

Queen of Cups
Water of Water, this Queen takes us within our unconscious and shows us the inner perspective and healing we get when we take time to go within.  She is very intuitive and knows just how to balance on the boundaries between dream and reality.  She helps us cross that border and remove our limitations.  This is a passive energy, very watery with no ground or fire - so you need to be careful you aren't getting stuck in the dream realms.

So together, these cards and their personalities compliment each other - they help us to stand strong in our power so we can get things done but also, to remind us to look within and trust not only the outer world and its information but our own inner world which has so much knowledge for us as well.
