Daily Mindfulness
Seven of Wands Time to take a stand if this battle is important to you . While there are some things you can let go of - there are others times when you need to stand your ground. If you have strong convictions about the matter then it is worth the effort and energy. But the opposite holds true as well - if it isn't worth the fight, then you need to let it go. It takes courage to do either - trust yourself to know which way to go.

Ten of Cups A happy ending for our travelers into the Unknown and Over the Garden Wall! They over came all sorts of strange obstacles and discovered bravery and friendships. It wasn't easy but in the end they made it through and now is a time to celebrate! Happiness, security, inner peace and well being. A sense of a job well done. Serenity because everything in our world is ok! Even during chaos and crisis we need to learn to find the small, simple wins that surround us - they will lift us up and keep us going when we need it most. Daily Mindfulness
Two of Pentacles This is one of the Pumpkin People from Pottsfield and I imagine they are very good at staying balanced and getting people to work together for a common goal. In the episode Hard Times at the Huskin Bee we see them preparing for a harvest party with everyone pitching in to help and it creates a fun atmosphere to play in! This is a card to remind us that while we do needs to stay balanced we also need to have some fun. You may have a lot of things to juggle but right now you have the energy and vitality to get it all done and enjoy doing it too. Stay flexible and remember, you got this! Daily Mindfulness
Knight of Wands It's Jeffery! We meet him and a bunch of his animal friends in the episode Schooltown Follies. He is a very outgoing Possum who is great at playing games and hanging upside down from trees while trying to whack a gorilla with a bat! This is a fiery Knight energy just waiting for us to use it. Be full of life and try something new! Have no doubts about your ability to do something, just do it! Daily Mindfulness
King of Cups It's Jason Funderberker! This is Wirt's "competition" for the lovely Sara - Wirt calls him, "the total package," which is kind of funny when we actually meet him for the first time and find that he is a rather meek, nerdy and awkward kid. Still, he is liked by everyone and he is friendly to all he meets. He follows his heart and has compassion and understanding as well as staying calm and keeping his emotions under control. This might be a time for us to channel our inner Jason today and keep emotionally steady as we go. Daily Mindfulness
The Beast/Devil The Monster of the Unknown - he lurks and waits for unsuspecting people he can lie to and trap for his own gains. He badly wants Wirt and Greg so he can turn them into Edelwood trees to feed his flames. He is very manipulative and will do anything for his self-preservation. But this Beast can be bested! Decide not to feed his flame and blow out his lantern. Gone! It can be so hard to break patterns that we find ourselves stuck in simply because the known is often easier than the Unknown. But all we need is one small step forward and the next step is that much easier. And never be afraid to ask for help - there is no need to go it alone. Daily Mindfulness
Queen of Cups It's Sara! And she makes a perfect Queen of the Cups. She is kind, friendly with everyone she meets and exudes an air of calm sensitivity. She stays relaxed and knows how to "just be and enjoy" what happens around her. Today would be a good day to let life do it's thing and enjoy it fully with your heart open. Daily Mindfulness
The Highwayman/Hanged Man In the episode, Songs of the Dark Lantern, we meet the Highwayman in a tavern. He isn't the most noble of characters and he mostly likes to rob people and sing about it. In the comic book we find out that he might actually be a ghost. Perhaps he is "stuck" in the tavern as punishment for all his highway robbery and now he has plenty of time to think over what he has done in life. The Hanged Man card is letting us know it is time to pause and reflect on where we are and how we got here. We need to suspend ourselves while we consider what we want to do next. This is not a card of action - it is one of waiting and letting go of our need to control all the things. By doing so we can move forward with a clearer picture of the opportunities ahead. Daily Mindfulness
This card was a jumper this morning so I guess it wanted to be heard! The World Goal achieved! We have worked hard and we learned so much along the way. We have also learned how to find harmony and balance within ourselves and how to best do what we need to do on our path in life. But, this is only a pause to rest and reflect on all we have achieved. There will always be a new cycle, a new work to accomplish. Take all you have learned and know you have what it takes to do anything that needs to be done! Daily Mindfulness
Six of Axes Whatever issues we may have been dealing with, now they are slowly starting to ease. We are moving away from chaotic times and anxiety. Axes (swords) are related to the mind and right now we need to use rational thought to help us on our next leg of the journey. We need a new positive frame of mine and to have hope that things are now getting better. |
