item. the chariot the chariot arrives when its Go time. things are moving quickly and you need to harness your willpower to keep them going in the same direction. this energy is passionate and powerful and a little dangerous - this could be a ride to victory if you have the stamina to stay on course. the companion card to the chariot is the tower - which gives us a bit of a hint as to how things can go pear shaped if we aren't fully in the moment and staying mindful to our plans and our path. I asked the cards, how best can i work with this chariot energy and pulled the devil which at first surprised me but then i saw how it makes total sense. item. the devil this card is never to be feared - it is a powerful energy for us to use to break through into our shadow sides and integrate into a complete and total whole. there are so many things that can bring us negative energy and harm us, even if they seem to be pleasurable for the moment - it isn't a lasting pleasure. these addictions and distractions need to be broken free of. we own the power to walk away from anything that keeps us prisoner - we have the power to choose. so together - it's important to choose wisely and to keep ourselves powerful and on the right path. before we can harness our speeding chariots we need to be sure we are heading in the correct direction.

suit. elixirs fig. king As the lovely art implies, this King brings a peaceful and calming energy when we need it most. as a king he uses his wisdom and experience to look at everything carefully before reacting. He knows to stay calm in his emotions and is always present in the moment. this kind is someone you can reply upon when needed. he brings us stable emotions so we can find much needed perspective in life's situations. Ten of Wands Lady Harris depicted this card perfectly. The two Dorjes from the Two of wands - there depicting celestial power, now trap the rest of the wands under them, suppressing their fiery energy. Crowley says, "the whole picture suggests oppression and repression. It is a stupid and obstinate cruelty from which there is no escape. It is Will which has not understood anything beyond its dull purpose, its "lust of result," and will devour itself in the conflagration it has evoked." Overbearing force/energy - applied to material ends. Strong opposition, hard to control, arising from a selfish nature. This is fire in its most destructive aspect. Here we are trapped and blocked which has us feeling depressed and frustrated. The best thing to do is stop for a moment and take a look at what is surrounding you. Don't suppress your feelings - get them out, say what you need and create a game plan to follow. Daily Mindfulness Thoth Tarot
Seven of Wands The balanced victory we had in the six has become somewhat blocked in the seven. A heavier club like wand is sitting on top of the others and tells us, "the four Sevens are not capable of bringing any comfort; each one represents the degeneration of the element. Its utmost weakness is exposed in every case." (BOT) There is plenty of fiery Mars in Leo energy here but it's a mishmash free for all. The kind that just wastes our energies. The best thing here is to have a plan, a goal of attack so you have something to focus the energy on. Opposition - Valour, obstacles and difficulties - the courage to meet them. Stay open to opportunities and have the courage to stand strong. Daily Mindfulness Thoth Tarot
Knight of Wands I love this Knight! He pretty much flies off the card - from the look of his hair and the fire and the horses mane, they are being blasted off the thing! That is pure fiery energy. Fire of Fire, this Knight is powerful. Active, courageous, impetuous... he has the creative energy to get anything done BUT! Think of his horse as a rocket - aimed well, we see magnificent success - but with no game plan (see impetuous) we end up crashing and burning. Daily Mindfulness Antique Anatomy Tarot

item. the high priestess today is a time of looking within us and getting in touch with our divine femininity. There is much within the mystery of our intuition and our subconscious has much to show us. Messages are given via dreams and synchronicity so pay attention to what you see. What seems to be hidden is often just waiting for us to truly open our eyes and see it. take a walk on the spiritual side and bridge the gap between your conscious and higher self. Daily Mindfulness Thoth Tarot
Knight of Cups Fire of Water this Knight can be as swift as a fast moving spring or water, slowly eroding rock. He is "amiable, in a passive way, quick to respond to attraction and easily becomes enthusiastic under such stimulus... but not very enduring." (BOT) This Knight has some interesting opposites and conflicting elements and Pisces kind of drowns out the fiery nature of the Knight and his steed. As Crowley says, "his name is writ in water." A nice personality but not very deep. Graceful and enthusiastic, sensual and poetic. There are many positive qualities here but we need to dig deeper than surface level to really appreciate them. Without finding your true sense of self, you will find yourself unsteady and off balance. Find your center and dwell there. Daily Mindfulness Antique Anatomy Tarot
item.justice when justice appears to us, she is telling us to use both our heads and our hearts to find the answers we need. this is when we create and use our moral compass to figure out what is honest and fair. this requires truth and a balanced perspective to see what needs to be done for the best of everyone involved. constant assessment and the ability to change and go with the flow are needed to stay on top of things. as long as we are always operating with this fairness in mind, karma will be kind - something to keep in mind! The Hermit (Thoth) This is a vital card in the Great Work we undertake. The Hermit is the Earth -which is connected to Spirit - and along with Mercury and the Sun, they all meet in the Hermit, who carries the lamp of the Sun, that gives light to the world. Illumination from within. Crowley says, "in this Trump is shewn the entire mystery of Life in its most secret workings." item. the hermit a time for us to withdraw from the outer world and look within us. we need to let go of any preconceived notions and opinions of others, and find our own truth. this solitude is necessary because it gives us the perspective and confidence we need to find our own way on our own path. the companion card to the hermit is the moon and that is a hint - we need to use our intuition as well as to see within our own shadows, to find who we truly are. Together: This is a time to go within, to touch our inner god/dess and discover our own truth. With self-knowledge mastered, we can find our center and our own perfect perspectives. Discover what is truly important and what is no longer needed. |
